Boeing has announced the delivery of the 100th modified CH-47F Chinook helicopter to the U.S. Army.
The Army accepted the aircraft in a ceremony last week at the company's modification center in Millville, N.J., according to a Boeing release.
Modification efforts began at the facility in February 2010 to support new Army requirements.
The avionics and airframe modifications are made on new Chinooks before they are delivered, said company officials.
