Boeing Hands Over Another Pair Of Slam Eagles To Air Force

The South Korean air force has taken delivery of two more F-15K Slam Eagle fighter aircraft, reports Boeing, which builds the fighter.

The aircraft were handed over at Daegu Air Base on May 30.

The jets were the ninth and 10th to be delivered under the Next Fighter II contract, which covers 21 F-15Ks. The balance of the order is to be handed over by April 2012.

The F-15K is an advanced variant of the F-15E Strike Eagle.
