Boeing Finally Ties Down Apache Helicopter Deal For Jakarta

The U.S. government has awarded Boeing a contract to build attack helicopters for Indonesia, reports Flight International.

The US$296 million Foreign Military Sales deal covers eight AH-64E Apache aircraft, according to an announcement issued by the U.S. Dept. of Defense on Sunday.

Work under the contract, to be performed in Mesa, Ariz., is scheduled to be completed by February 2018.
