Boeing Expresses Optimism On Future Super Hornet Market

Boeing has told USNI News it wants to keep its F/A-18E/F Super Hornet production line open after receiving positive signs for potential sales from multiple sources.

The company builds the Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler on the same production line. The last aircraft purchased were 15 Growlers in fiscal 2015; this will keep the line running through the end of 2017.
