Boeing To Build 5th C-17 For Australia

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Boeing a contract to manufacture a fifth strategic transport for Australia, reports the Dept. of Defense.
The US$195.7 million Foreign Military Sales contract covers the production of a single C-17.
Under the contract, work will take place at Boeing's Long Beach, Calif., facility.
