Boeing and U.S. Expand PAC-3 Seeker Production

On April 1, 2026, Boeing and the U.S. Department of Defense announced a seven-year framework to significantly increase production of PAC-3 seekers, to meet demand and strengthen the U.S. defense industrial base under the Arsenal of Freedom initiative.

The agreement supports expanded manufacturing, workforce growth, and supply chain stability, with production ramp-up already underway alongside Lockheed Martin.

PAC-3 seekers, essential for detecting, tracking, and neutralizing advanced aerial and missile threats, will see production tripled under the new framework to increase availability for U.S. and allied forces.
