On Sept. 9, 2026, Anduril announced that the U.S. Army selected it and Boeing to advance to the next phase of the Integrated Fires Protection Capability (IFPC) Increment 2 Second Interceptor competition.

The proposed system combines Boeing's seeker technology and compact airframe with Anduril’s solid rocket motor. This integration delivers a mass-producible, midrange interceptor designed to fill the operational gap between short-range point defense and long-range air defense systems.
