Bodyguard Wounds Dissident Leader, Say Taliban Commanders

A leader of a splinter faction of the Afghan Taliban has been shot and wounded by a bodyguard, say Taliban commanders cited by Reuters.

The bodyguard shot dissident Mullah Mansoor Dadullah several days ago in the southern province of Zabul, said the Taliban commanders on Tuesday.

The bodyguard was immediately killed by other guards, said one commander. Dadullah's whereabouts are unknown.
