The pilot of a F-16 that crashed earlier this week in Arizona has been identified as an Iraqi general, reports Agence France-Presse. The pilot's fate was not known for some time.
On Friday, the Iraqi Ministry of Defense said the body of Iraqi pilot Rasid Mohammed Sadiq, a brigadier general, was found by search teams near the crash site in the U.S.
The plane crashed Wednesday during an aerial refueling training mission, according to a U.S. defense offical.
