Major planned upgrades have significantly increased the cost of the F-35 fighter jet program, reports Bloomberg News.
The program’s estimated cost for research and procurement has increased by $22 billion, according to the Pentagon’s latest Selected Acquisition Report, which was submitted to Congress last week.
