Secretary of State Antony Blinken has met with Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Ali Sabry on the sidelines of a regional conference in Cambodia, reports the U.S. State Dept. During the talks, Blinken expressed support for Sri Lanka’s efforts to negotiate an arrangement with the International Monetary Fund, urging equitable debt restructuring with creditors doing what is needed to support the island nation during its economic crisis.
