Blinken Announces New Nord Stream 2-Linked Sanctions

The U.S. State Dept. has unveiled new sanctions on entities linked to the controversial Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline from Russia to Germany.

On Monday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced that the department was sanctioning one Russian-linked entity and two vessels involved in the Nord Stream 2 project.

The sanctioned entity is Transadria Ltd., and its vessel, Marlin, has been identified as blocked property, said a State Dept. release. Transadria is based in Cyprus...
