A massive wildfire in Colorado has forced the evacuation of cadets from the U.S. Air Force Academy, reports the Pikes Peak Courier View.
Firefighters were trying to stop the unpredictable Waldo Canyon fire at the academy's borders, said Superintendent Lt. Gen. Mike Gould on Wednesday.
About 2,000 people were reportedly evacuated from the base housing areas of Douglas Valley and Pinion Valley.
