A British company is offering blast-resistant boxer shorts for sale to Canadian soldiers headed for Afghanistan, reports the Chronicle Herald (Halifax).
The manufacturer, BCB International, has reportedly spent about a year developing the Kevlar shorts. The company says the protective garb will help reduce the number of groin injuries caused by mines or roadside bombs.
