A suicide bomber attacked the armored car of the British ambassador to Yemen on his morning drive to the embassy in Sanaa, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Three people, including two police officers escorting the vehicle, were wounded in the Monday morning attack, security officials said. Ambassador Timothy Torlot was unharmed.
The embassy was then temporarily closed, a Foreign Office spokesman said.
