The Biden administration has announced a new slate of nominations for top national security posts, reports Politico (Washington, D.C.).
On Monday, the White House announced that it would nominate Christine Wormuth as Army secretary. If confirmed, she would be the first woman to hold the job.
She has served in various roles at the Pentagon and National Security Council, including a stint as undersecretary of defense for policy, noted Defense News.
