Beret Dropped In Army Combat Uniform In Favor Of Patrol Caps

The U.S. Army has decided to drop the generic black beret as the official headgear for the combat uniform, reports the Army Times.

Patrol caps will be brought back as part of a series of uniform changes prompted by feedback from thousands of soldiers, according to Sgt. Maj. of the Army Raymond Chandler.
