Benelux Cooperation Accord Includes Giving Up Some National Rights

The Netherlands Ministry of Defense has provided more details on a defense cooperation agreement signed last week with Belgium and Luxembourg.
The agreement calls for: more joint training; sharing airfields; the Belgian and Dutch navies will increase their combined operations; and Belgian and Dutch paratroopers will cooperate more, according to a ministry release.
