Belarus Pledges Military Cooperation

Lithuania and Belarus have signed their first agreement on military cooperation, the Belarus Telegraph Agency (Belta) reports.
The pact was finalized during a visit to the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius by Belarusian Defense Minister Yuri Zhadobin.
Cooperation was pledged in military personnel training, airspace surveillance and military medicine, said defense officials.
