Beijing Will Not Join Arms Control Talks With U.S., Russia

The Chinese government says it has no intention to participate in arms control talks with the U.S., reports Agence France-Presse. 

The U.S. has urged China to join trilateral strategic arms talks, a foreign ministry spokesman said on Wednesday. 

Washington and Moscow have held two rounds of talks in an effort to improve understanding following the collapse of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty last year.
