China has suspended military exchanges with the United States over U.S. plans for a $6.4 billion arms sale to Taiwan, the Wall Street Journal reports.
Beijing announced the freeze on Saturday, after the Obama administration announced Friday it would proceed with the sale, which includes anti-missile systems, helicopters and other arms.
The move is expected to affect upcoming meetings on security, arms control and antiproliferation, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry. ...
