Beijing Hands Over Mine-Clearance Equipment

The Chinese government has donated mine-clearance equipment and humanitarian aid to Cambodia, reports China Military Online. The gear was handed over on Monday in a ceremony in Phnom Penh, the Cambodian capital. The total value of the equipment and aid was estimated at US$725,000. The equipment is part of ongoing assistance from China to support efforts by the international community to remove uncleared mines throughout Cambodia.
