Base Commander Suspended Over Costs Of Medical Gear

The Czech Defense Ministry is filing a complaint against the costs of acquiring medical equipment at a base in Bystrice pod Hostynem in south Moravia, reports the Czech News Agency.

Lt. Gen. Vlastimil Picek, the chief of staff of the Czech military, has temporarily suspended Jiri Plasek, the commander of the Health Materiel Base in in Bystrice pod Hostynem, who is responsible for the alleged questionable procurements.
