Baghdad Eyes $13 Billion In U.S. Defense Equipment

Iraq is preparing to spend up to US$13 billion for U.S. weapons and military equipment, reports the USA Today.
The potential purchases should build Iraqi capabilities and strengthen the U.S.-Iraqi bilateral strategic relationship for many years, said Army Lt. Gen. Michael Barbero, the top officer for training and advising Iraqi forces.
