BAE Systems says it has demonstrated the ability of its rocket guidance kit to defeat uncrewed aerial vehicles.
During testing at Yuma Proving Ground, Ariz., 2.75-inch (70-mm) test rockets were combined with a standard M151 warhead, Mk 66 motor, Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) guidance kits and a new proximity fuze, the company said in a release on Monday.
