BAE Systems To Produce 1,600 Guided Rockets For Navy

The Naval Air Systems Command has awarded BAE Systems Information and Electronics, Nashua, N.H., a $45.1 million contract modification for the advanced precision kill weapon system (APKWS), reports the Union Leader (Manchester, N.H.).
The deal covers 1,601 APKWS II WGU-59/B guidance sections and Navy shipping and storage containers, according to a Pentagon release on Monday.
Work under the contract is scheduled to be completed in September 2016.
