BAE Systems Demonstrates New Turret, Gun Systems

BAE Systems has demonstrated a new gun and turret system intended as an upgrade for Britain's Warrior armored fighting vehicles, reports the defense firm.

Called the MTIP2 (manned turret integration program) the upgrade is equipped with a 40-mm Cased Telescoped Armament System (CTAS).

It was demonstrated on a Warrior vehicle in Scotland for British and French defense officials.
