BAE, Leonardo Step Up Cooperation On FCAS Program

Leonardo says it is moving forward with collaboration with BAE Systems in the U.K. on the British-led Future Combat Air Systems (FCAS) program.

Under the agreement, the Italian and British companies will apply model-based system engineering (MBSE) design methodologies and jointly develop enabling technologies to ensure national sovereignty for the air combat system, Leonardo said in a release on Tuesday.
