The U.S. Navy is trying to deal with a backlog of 250 potential aviators waiting to start flight training in Pensacola, Fla., the Navy Times reports.
Newly commissioned officers are being urged to take temporary internships in Washington or transfer into other communities, such as surface warfare, the Information Dominance Corps and the Civil Engineering Corps, according to Navy Personnel Command.
