No injuries were reported when one of eight medium-thrust engines fell off a U.S. Air Force B-52 heavy bomber from Minot Air Force Base, N.D. on Wednesday.
The engine fell from a B-52 Stratofortress during a training flight, reports Military.com.
The bomber was conducting a training flight not far from Minot AFB when the engine was lost, according to Air Force officials. The engine broke up and debris landed in an unpopulated area.
