B-2 Tests Software In Arctic Mission

A U.S. Air Force B-2 has recently conducted the first long-range bomber flight over the North Pole as part of an upgrade program, reports Northrop Grumman, which is responsible for the modernization.
The bomber flew for 18.5 hours over the North Pole to validate new flight-management software, say company officials.
The upgrade, the heart of all future B-2 upgrades, is now ready for low-rate initial production, according to a Northrop Grumman release.
