The European Commission has notified the governments of Austria and Poland that they need to clarify how they will comply with European Union rules on defense procurement.
Austria and Poland failed to meet their commitments under the E.U. directive covering the procurement of weapons, munitions and other systems for defense and security purposes, said a commission statement published Friday, reported Euroalert.net.
