Auditor Hits F-35 Buy For Lack Of 'Due Diligence'

The Canadian government has decided to revamp the protocols for planned purchases of U.S. F-35 Joint Strike Fighters after an extremely critical review of the program by the auditor general, reports the Globe and Mail (Toronto).
The auditor had a harsh assessment over the selection process, cost of the aircraft and approvals made without proper documentation, among other faults, reported CBC News.
