The African Union and United Nations are contemplating deploying troops in Burundi to help end the growing violence there, reports the East African (Nairobi, Kenya).
The U.N. may send part of its peacekeeping force in the Democratic Republic of Congo to Burundi, said diplomats.
The A.U. says it will send troops from the Eastern African Standby Force (EASF) within weeks.
