Attack On U.N. Peacekeepers In W. Darfur Condemned By Security Council

U.N. peacekeepers have been injured while patrolling in Sudan's West Darfur province.
The U.N. Security Council on Tuesday condemned the attack on the peacekeepers, reports the U.N. News Service.
Thirty-two police officers were attacked by men armed with AK-47s in West Darfur state last week, said officials from the African Union-United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID).
Four officers from Togo were wounded in the attack; one later died, said officials.
