Algeria and the Russian manufacturer of the Mi-28NE attack helicopter have been discussing a potential deal, reports RIA Novosti.
Negotiations will begin this year, with possible deliveries from 2012 to 2017, said a Rosvertol official.
Rosvertol is the attack helicopter arm of the state-owned Russian Helicopter holding company.
