Attack and anti-submarine warfare aircraft from Russia's Eastern Military District are training over the Sea of Okhotsk in the western Pacific Ocean, reports Interfax-AVN.
During the exercise, Su-24M2 strike aircraft stationed in Khabarovsk will conduct operations at their maximum range, said a spokesman for the district on Tuesday.
Four Il-38 anti-submarine warfare planes from the Pacific Fleet will also practice searching for simulated hostile submarines, he said.
