The South Korean Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) has decided to restart a program to procure 12 anti-submarine warfare helicopters, reports Defense News.
The DAPA is expected to issue a renewed request for proposal as early as March, said agency officials.
The move comes after the U.S. government sent a letter of price and availability for Lockheed Martin’s MH-60R Seahawk soon after the bidding deadline closed on Nov. 14, 2018.
