Aselsan Wins Contract For Domestic Air Defense Systems

Aselsan, a Turkish military electronics firm, has formalized a contract with the Turkish Undersecretariat for Defense Industries to develop and produce low- and medium-altitude air defense systems, reports the Hurriyet Daily News.
The low-altitude missile contract is worth about US$448 million, while the medium-altitude deal is worth an estimated US$270 million, according to the company.
