The Philippine navy is hosting a 10-day annual multinational exercise in the Malacca Strait, Sulu Sea and Celebes Sea, reports the Sun Star (Zamboanga).
The U.S.-led Southeast Asia Cooperation and Training (SEACAT) drills, which began on Tuesday, features a scenario-driven fleet training exercise against terrorism, transnational crime and other maritime threats, according to a Philippine naval official.
