ASEAN Defense Ministers Discuss COVID-19 Outbreak In Hanoi

Defense ministers from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) member states have been meeting in Hanoi, reports the Singapore Ministry of Defense.
During talks on Thursday, the ministers discussed regional and global security issues, as well as the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.
The ministers adopted a Joint Statement on Defense Cooperation Against Disease Outbreaks, which was co-sponsored by Singapore and Vietnam.
