ASDF Deploy PAC-3 Air Defense Systems In Tokyo In Rare Exercise

The Japan Air Self-Defense Force (ASDF) has deployed an air defense missile battery to Tokyo as part of an exercise, reports the Jiji Press (Tokyo).
On Wednesday, a unit from the 1st Air Defense Missile Group based at Iruma Air Base in Saitama prefecture north of Tokyo practiced deploying PAC-3 missile launchers, radar and support vehicles and equipment to the Tokyo Rinkai Disaster Prevention Park in Koto Ward, reported the Asahi Shimbun.
