The South Korean military is considering permanently deploying radars to detect artillery fire on two islands in the Yellow Sea (East China Sea) after recent barrages by North Korea, reports the Joong Ang Daily.
The military previously removed its Firefinder systems from the western sea border area since no threats in the region were expected, said a spokeswoman for the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
