Arrests Made Of Would-Be Bombers In Dagestan

Russian security forces say they have thwarted a terrorist cell that was preparing to use female suicide bombers in Dagestan, near Chechnya in southern Russia, the New York Times reports.

Six women were arrested, ranging in age from 15 to 29, security officials said. Four of the would-be bombers were said to be widows of men who had died in security operations.
