Police in Shanghai have arrested 10 Turkish and two Chinese citizens in November for allegedly providing altered Turkish passports to suspected terrorists in Xinjiang, reports the New York Times, citing state-run media.
Nine ethnic Uighurs who were reportedly trying to illegally leave China while using the passports were also arrested, according to the report by Global Times on Wednesday. They were said to be heading to Afghanistan, Pakistan and Syria from the Shanghai Pudong...
