Arrests Made In Coup Attempt; President To Address Nation

Three leaders of an attempted coup in Burundi are under arrest, reports Al Jazeera (Qatar).
Former Defense Minister Cyrille Ndayirukiya, an army general and a police general were arrested on Friday, said a presidential spokesman. He said they will be charged with mutiny in a military court, reported CNN.
Gen. Godefroid Niyombare, the alleged leader of the coup may still be at large, according to some accounts. The government says he was among those arrested.
