Concern over Russian aggression has the U.S. Army considering assigning an entire division to reassurance training missions and deploying more equipment to Europe, reports the Army Times.
The service has continued to withdraw personnel from Europe, including two brigade combat teams. Another 1,700 troops are set to be cut over the next three years as part of the latest reductions, leaving about 30,000 soldiers forward-based in Europe.
