Army Transitions Hundreds Of Components To Sustainment As Part Of Modernization Drive

The Army Futures Command has identified more than 600 pieces of equipment for transfer to the sustainment phase as part of a major realignment of its acquisition efforts, reports Breaking Defense.
Equipment identified for the shift to sustainment will no longer be upgraded. Army Mobility Command will take responsibility for keeping the gear operational until replacement, freeing Army Futures Command to focus on future capabilities, officials said.
