Army Tests Nuclear-Capable Missile

An Indian defense official says the military test-fired a surface-to-surface Prithvi-II missile on Thursday, reports Agence France-Presse.
The weapon is capable of carrying nuclear payloads.
The missile was launched from the Integrated Test Range in the eastern state of Orissa and successfully hit its target in the Bay of Bengal, defense officials said, as cited by the Times of India.
This was the fourth test of the missile, which has a reported range of 200 miles.
