Army Special Ops Not Expected To Expand After 2017

There is no expectation that the size of the Army special operations force will increase beyond that currently planned despite the growing demand for such troops, says a top commander cited by the Army Times.

The force is expected to finish its growth by 2017, at which point it will "be pretty well postured," said Lt. Gen. John Mulholland, commanding general of U.S. Army Special Operations Command.
